Why We Carry It
Body Balance is the product that started LiquidWholeFood.com. In fact, it’s where our name came from; printed on the side of the shipping box were the words “Body Balance,” with “Liquid Whole Food” directly underneath. Bingo.
I first tried Body Balance more than twenty years ago. At the time, I had dealt with seasonal allergies for years, and somewhere during that first bottle, I realized they had improved remarkably. Was it Body Balance? I can’t prove that, and I would never tell you that Body Balance treats allergies. But I knew what I was experiencing, and it was enough to make me keep taking it.
That experience also made me want to know more about what was actually in the bottle. I liked that the formula was built around aloe, nine different sea vegetables, and other food-based ingredients, and it fit with the way Darryl and I were already thinking about nutrition. We believed good nutrition should start with food, with supplements there to help fill in the gaps when real life and a perfect diet don’t quite line up.
When we started LiquidWholeFood.com in 2006, Body Balance was one of the products at the heart of it. We’ve carried it ever since, and it’s still one of the cornerstone products in our catalog.
Why I Recommend It
I don’t think drinking four ounces of anything makes up for a day of lousy eating. It doesn’t. But even though we eat a largely whole-food, plant-based diet at our house, every day isn’t nutritionally perfect. That’s where Body Balance fits for us. It’s an easy way to add a broad variety of plant and sea vegetable ingredients to what we’re already doing.
After more than twenty years of using Body Balance, that’s still the reason I recommend it. Not because I think it replaces good food, and not because I expect everyone to have the same experience I’ve had with it. I recommend it for what it actually is: a convenient, broad nutritional formula that complements a good diet rather than pretending to replace one.
We often use the powder sticks because they’re easy to mix into a large water bottle or another beverage, and they’re much easier to travel with than a quart bottle. If you’re looking for an everyday nutritional foundation rather than a supplement aimed at one particular need, Body Balance is still one of the first products I suggest considering.

Does Body Balance need to be refrigerated? Liquid: yes, after opening. Store unopened bottles in a cool, dry place. Powder: no. Once mixed with water, we recommend drinking it promptly. If you prepare it ahead of time, refrigerate it until you’re ready to drink it.
How much should I take each day? The suggested serving is 4 ounces (120 mL). Many customers make Body Balance part of their daily routine, but you should follow the product directions or consult your healthcare professional if you have questions about your individual needs.
How many servings are in one bottle? One bottle will last 8 days if you are taking 4 ounces per day. Each pouch of stick packs will make 8 servings of 4 ounces, if used as suggested. Buy 32 stick packs (4 pouches) to equal 4 liquid bottles and 64 stick packs (8 pouches) to equal 8 liquid bottles.
Why is it called Body Balance? The story behind the name goes back to the founders of Life Force International. During a difficult period of declining health, one of the founders began looking for a more complete approach to nutrition. That search eventually led to the aloe- and sea-vegetable-based formula that became Body Balance. As they continued using it, they felt they had finally found the kind of nutritional foundation they had been looking for, and the name Body Balance grew out of that experience. Years later, when Darryl and I started our own company, that same product helped inspire the name LiquidWholeFood.
You’ve been drinking this for more than 20 years. Aren’t you tired of it yet? Apparently not. At this point, Body Balance has been in our refrigerator longer than some of our appliances. And unlike a few of those appliances, it still works.

What does "autoship" mean? It's an automatic, scheduled monthly (or every other month) delivery, so you never run out. Bonus: if your autoship order (after your first order) is over $100, shipping is free.
Can I change or cancel autoship? Yes. You will receive an email from Youngevity as a reminder before your next shipment, with a number to call if you wish to skip or cancel your autoship.
When will my order be processed? Orders are reviewed and processed after they are submitted.
