Ultimate Osteo fx™
A liquid calcium formula with vitamin D3, magnesium, supporting minerals, glucosamine and MSM for bone and joint support
Description
Is This Right for You?
This product may be a good fit if you:
- Want serious daily bone support with 1,200 mg of calcium plus vitamin D3 and complementary minerals
- Like getting magnesium, phosphorus, zinc, and boron alongside your calcium rather than calcium flying solo
- Want vegetable-sourced glucosamine HCl and MSM included for additional joint support
- Prefer drinking your calcium because some companies apparently believe pills should be the size of patio furniture
Comparing our liquid calcium formulas? You’re in a win-win: both are solid choices for serious bone support. Ultimate Osteo fx™ has a simpler mineral profile with added MSM, while OsteoProCare® offers the broader trace-mineral profile.

Our Curated Standard
We favor whole-food and plant-based nutrition whenever practical, while recognizing that some nutrients are best delivered through thoughtfully formulated supplements. Every product we carry is evaluated for its ingredients, formulation, and how well it aligns with our standards before we recommend it.
Why These Ingredients Matter
| Ingredient | Why It Matters |
|---|---|
| Calcium | Provides the primary mineral building block for bones and teeth. Ultimate Osteo fx™ supplies calcium from calcium citrate and tricalcium phosphate.1 |
| Vitamin D3 | Helps the body absorb calcium and supports normal bone mineralization.2 |
| Magnesium | An essential mineral involved in normal bone structure and metabolism as well as normal muscle and nerve function.3 |
| Phosphorus | Works with calcium as a major structural component of bones and teeth.4 |
| Zinc + Boron | Zinc contributes to normal processes involved in bone formation and metabolism. Boron has been studied for its relationships with calcium metabolism, vitamin D and other factors involved in bone health.5,6 |
| Glucosamine HCl + MSM | Complement the bone-focused mineral formula with ingredients commonly used for joint and connective-tissue support. The glucosamine HCl in this formula is vegetable-sourced. |

Why We Carry It
Ultimate Osteo fx™ gives us another strong liquid calcium option for customers who want more than a basic calcium tablet. Its formula combines calcium with vitamin D3, magnesium, phosphorus, zinc and boron, along with vegetable-sourced glucosamine hydrochloride and MSM.
We like that the formula looks at bone support as more than simply adding calcium. Vitamin D3 helps the body absorb calcium, while magnesium and phosphorus are also important components of normal bone structure and metabolism. Zinc and boron round out the mineral profile, and the addition of glucosamine hydrochloride and MSM gives the formula a practical joint-support component as well.
Ultimate Osteo fx™ also gives customers a useful alternative to OsteoProCare®. Both are thoughtfully formulated liquid calcium products, but they are not identical. OsteoProCare® has a broader trace- and ultra-trace-mineral profile, while Ultimate Osteo fx™ uses a somewhat simpler mineral formula and adds MSM. We carry both because some customers prefer a broader mineral spectrum, while others would rather choose a more streamlined formula with the additional MSM.
The liquid format is another reason it earns a place in the catalog. For people who dislike swallowing large calcium tablets, taking a measured liquid can make a serious calcium supplement much easier to incorporate into a daily routine.
Why I Recommend It
Which one should I choose?
Don’t overthink it. I consider both solid choices. OsteoProCare® has the broader trace-mineral profile and is the formula I have the longest history with. Ultimate Osteo fx™ has a somewhat simpler mineral profile and adds MSM. Either way, you don’t need a degree in calcium chemistry to make a good choice.
If you’ve found this page because you’ve recently been told you have bone loss, you may be looking at calcium supplements seriously for the first time. And if you’re feeling a little overwhelmed by all the choices, you’re in the right place.
I’ve been selling nutritional supplements for 20 years, and bone health is one area where I’ve had the privilege of seeing what happens over time. Some of the most welcome calls I receive are from longtime customers who want to send me their latest DEXA scans. I’ve held those scans in my hands and seen points of testing stabilize and, in some cases, improve after customers made a serious liquid calcium supplement part of their bone-health routine. More than once, I’ve heard that their doctor looked at the results and said some version of, “I don’t know what you’re doing, but keep on doing it!”
That’s one reason I’m particular about the calcium supplements I sell. I don’t want to offer you calcium just for the sake of putting a big calcium number on the label. I look for liquid formulas that are easy to take and that provide calcium together with complementary nutrients involved in bone health. Both of the liquid calcium products I carry provide vitamin D3 and magnesium along with calcium, as well as additional supporting nutrients. And both contain vegetable-sourced glucosamine hydrochloride for joint support, because you can’t have a bone without a joint somewhere nearby.
My long-term customer experience has been with OsteoProCare®. Ultimate Osteo fx™ is newer to my catalog, so I don’t have 20 years of customer DEXA scans behind this particular formula, and I won’t pretend that I do. I chose to add it because it meets the same standard I look for in a serious calcium supplement: a liquid calcium formula accompanied by complementary nutrients rather than calcium standing alone.
I’m not telling you that a calcium supplement treats osteopenia or osteoporosis, and individual DEXA results are not proof that a particular supplement caused the change. What I am telling you is that if a diagnosis or a DEXA scan has sent you looking for a thoughtfully formulated calcium supplement to support your bones as you age, you’ve landed in the right place.
A note about the vitamin D3: I have not received confirmation from the manufacturer that the vitamin D3 in Ultimate Osteo fx™ is sourced from algae or lichen. Out of an abundance of caution, I am not using the vegan icon.

Frequently Asked Questions
Product Questions
How much Ultimate Osteo fx™ should I take? Follow the serving directions on your current product label rather than relying on older directions you may find online.
Why does Ultimate Osteo fx™ contain preservatives? As a water-based liquid supplement, Ultimate Osteo fx™ contains potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate as preservatives. I know some customers prefer to avoid preservatives, but preservation also helps protect liquid products from microbial spoilage. The manufacturer still directs you to refrigerate Ultimate Osteo fx™ after opening.
