Body Balance Seaweed Source and Radiation

Where are the Sea Vegetables harvested? I have not seen anything about their being organic. With so much ocean pollution, how do they know that this ingredient is clean, pollution and radiation free?? Thank you for your reply. I was thinking about ordering, but this is a big question in my mind.

That is a great question and shows great foresight, especially with the earthquake and Fukushima power plants changing life the way it did on March 11, 2011.

The sea vegetation in Body Balance is harvested up in the Arctic Circle, above the natural flow of the North body balance surrounded by its ingredientsPacific Current, which flows between 40 and 50 degrees latitude. (In other words, it is above the current which is dragging the waters away from Japan.) Each seaweed plant is sustainably harvested in reserved commercial zones which do not allow for contamination from industry. The water is clear and pristine. The harvester then assays each batch for pollutants, nutrient content, heavy metals, etc. When the raw materials come in from the supplier, they are assayed yet again on site in the labs at the plant in San Diego to make sure there are no discrepancies. If there are, the batch is rejected. Each item’s incoming reading must match what Life Force’s machines say. Life Force does thorough radiation testing all incoming batches of raw materials, in addition to the testing that is done by the vendor prior to delivery.

Of the 9 types of sea vegetation in Body Balance, 8 bear organic certification, but the 9th one is so prevalent across the globe, no one will certify it. (A good analogy is that it would be like trying to certify mud as organic.) Therefore, Body Balance cannot bear the USDA’s organic seal. However, the ninth one (I believe it is the bladderwrack, but may be wrong) is harvested in the same waters as the organic certified ones, and not in the cheaper places. The aloe vera in Body Balance is certified organic.

Life Force International held Good Manufacturing Practices certification (cGMP) from the FDA long before the federal mandate went into effect for dietary supplement companies in 2007 and was phased in by 2010. They maintain clean room standards in their processing and still have in mandated storage one bottle from every batch of Body Balance which has been produced. Its health effects are usually seen within 21 days of starting the 4 ounce per day serving.

I hope you will try Body Balance risk-free for 90-days to see if it is a fit for you. This also allows you to take advantage of the 10% discount by being on an autoship.
