Why I Recommend It
My enthusiasm for this product and my awareness of its price exist quite happily in the same brain. I think this is a fascinating whole-food product. I also know that $301.95 is a lot of money for a supplement.
So I wouldn’t recommend it to everyone. If you simply want to add muscadine polyphenols to your routine, I’d point you toward the much more economical Muscadine Grape Seed capsules. But if you’re specifically interested in a highly concentrated extract that keeps the fruit, skin and seed together, and you value knowing that the grapes are grown and processed on a single farm, this is the one I’d choose.
And I admit that I like how little has been done to complicate it. It’s muscadine fruit extract. That’s it. You can take it from the spoon, add it to a smoothie or other beverage, or experiment with it in foods such as salad dressings. It’s expensive, it’s unusual, and it’s here because I think there are people who will appreciate exactly what it is.
