Why does Vitali-C fizz when I put it in water or on my tongue?

This is part of the sodium bicarbonate that is added as a buffer to the product. This will allow you to take the product with no stomach upset, unlike other straight Vitamin C products on the market. Plus, it makes it fun for kids to take, but also is reminiscent of old-time “fizzies” that some adults remember (but without bone-leaching phospate and good stuff in it instead!).

If I am allergic to pine cone pollen, can I take this product?

The pollen you are actually allergic to comes from the male pine cone which doesn’t look like the standard “pine cone” you see in photos. What people think of “pine cones” are actually the female cone, which are the receptacles for the pollen the wind has taken from the male. The process of maturing seeds can take years, so it is highly unlikely there is any pollen residue on the pine cones that are used to make Proligna™. Further, the extraction process removes anything except for the lignin-polysaccharides, which are the molecules desired for the formulation.
